Job Description
In the Consultant role, you will contribute to and manage portions of a ten-week consulting project, with responsibilities including:

Identifying opportunities and challenges that clients can leverage to achieve their objectives

Employing robust problem-solving skills to simplify complex issues

Identifying relevant information sources and conducting extensive research

Interpreting data and carrying out comprehensive, in-depth analysis

Synthesizing intricate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable takeaways

Collaborating with team members and clients to ensure all perspectives are considered and the most effective solution is found

Preparing comprehensive, engaging, and informative presentations

The expected weekly time commitment is six to eight working hours

What we expect from Consultants:

Currently enrolled as a postgraduate student at LSE, or an incoming postgraduate student with a confirmed, unconditional offer from LSE. Previous work experience is beneficial but not mandatory

For undergraduate students applying for the Consultant role, prior work experience in consulting or a related field is essential

Strong ability to deconstruct complex problems and address them using both quantitative and qualitative analytical methods

Proven ability to conduct in-depth, relevant research efficiently

Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a team environment

High reliability and a proactive work ethic

Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal), including the ability to comprehend and convey complex information succinctly

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is expected
